Since God has richly blessed us in so many ways, it is not necessary to bring a gift to the wedding.

Gift Certificates at Kroger, Meijer, or other stores located in Columbus Ohio.
Make a gift in our name to a ministry. We both have a passion for international ministry, for example.
How about a gift certificate for Massage Therapy.
This would be useful for both of us.
